The 131B2113 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss as part of the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. The unit converts a fixed-frequency, three-phase AC supply into a controlled output that allows automation controllers to adjust motor speed and process throughput. Installed inside a control cabinet, it forms the electrical interface between plant PLCs and low-power induction motors used in conveyors, pumps, and ventilation equipment. Its regulated output supports applications that require controlled acceleration, deceleration, and continuous speed adjustment during normal operation.
The drive accepts an input range of 380–500 VAC, making it compatible with common low-voltage industrial power networks. It operates with three-phase power, so phase-conversion hardware is not required. The inverter delivers 1.5 kW, which corresponds to 2.0 HP of motor output for compact industrial machinery. Its IP20 chassis enclosure protects against accidental contact with live components while remaining open to cabinet airflow. Because the chassis is not sealed against dust or water, the drive must be installed in a suitable equipment cabinet. Standard metric cable entries simplify gland-plate layout, and the cabinet-mount frame allocation covers sizes A, B, and C for alignment with prepared mounting grids.
The A option slot contains a PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 interface, enabling cyclic communication with compatible fieldbus PLCs. Radio-frequency interference is reduced by an integral RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which limits conducted electrical noise on the incoming supply. The control electronics are not coated, so the cabinet should prevent excessive humidity and airborne contamination from reaching the circuit boards. Adaptation B is configured for standard operation without adaptation. The drive does not include a brake chopper, mains option, D option, or local control panel. Operators must therefore use a remote control interface or connected automation system to enter commands and view operating information. Menu text is provided through the standard language pack, while the internal 302 series identifier places the unit within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group.
