Product Description:
The 131B0042 AC drive is produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It functions as a frequency converter that transforms a fixed three-phase power supply into a variable-frequency output for controlling induction motors. Plant control systems can use the drive to regulate motor speed, torque, and process throughput in response to changing operating requirements. This capability supports efficient operation in pumps, fans, conveyors, and other material-handling equipment where motor demand varies during normal use.
The drive delivers 7.5 kW of continuous mechanical power when connected to a 380–500 VAC supply on a three-phase power network. Its built-in RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter helps reduce conducted electromagnetic interference between the drive and the power network. The IP20 chassis enclosure protects against accidental contact with internal components but does not provide protection from water. Installation inside a suitable closed panel is therefore required to limit exposure to moisture, debris, and unauthorized contact. Standard cable entries accommodate the power supply, motor, and control wiring, allowing the conductors to be routed separately within the cabinet. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so applications that require management of regenerated braking energy must use an appropriate external arrangement.
The operator interface is a graphical local control panel that provides direct access to operating values and adjustable parameters without requiring an external interface device. Its standard multilingual language set allows menus and status messages to be displayed in several supported languages. Mechanical installation uses normal cabinet mounting, with the drive secured inside an enclosure that provides appropriate ventilation and access clearances. The internal circuit boards are not coated, so the surrounding enclosure should remain dry and free from condensation or corrosive airborne contaminants. Adequate airflow around the chassis helps remove heat generated by the inverter during continuous operation. The base configuration provides standard power and control connections for integration with compatible motor-control systems.
