The 131B0592 is an AC drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Installed inside a control cabinet, the unit converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable-frequency output that adjusts motor speed and torque according to process demand in conveyors, pumps, and general factory equipment. Its control algorithms support closed-loop regulation of induction motors, while the cabinet-mounted design provides a compact arrangement for automated production lines. The drive fits standard A, B, and C frame installations used throughout the product series.
This model delivers a continuous mechanical output of 5.5 kW, which corresponds to 7.5 HP. The input section accepts 380–500 VAC from industrial feeders and operates with three-phase power, eliminating the need for external phase conversion. The drive uses an IP20 chassis that provides protection against accidental contact when the unit is installed inside a ventilated control panel. Because the chassis is not sealed against dust or water, the surrounding enclosure must provide protection appropriate for the installation environment. Standard cable entries simplify power and control wiring, while the normal cabinet mount keeps heat-sink airflow aligned with common vertical ventilation paths. Regenerative energy produced during motor deceleration is managed by an internal brake chopper, which helps prevent excessive DC-link voltage when a suitable braking resistor is connected.
