Product Description:
The 134G1330 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It regulates the speed and torque of three-phase induction motors so plant controllers can match mechanical output to real-time demand in pumping, material-handling, and process lines. By synthesizing a variable output frequency from a constant mains source, the drive supports energy savings, smoother acceleration, and reduced mechanical wear in industrial automation. Its speed regulation also allows connected equipment to respond to changing flow, pressure, or production requirements without relying on repeated across-the-line motor starts.
The inverter delivers a continuous power rating of 7.5 kW, equivalent to 10 HP, allowing it to run medium-frame motors used on fans and screw compressors. It accepts a supply of 380 – 500 VAC with three-phase power, so it can be wired directly to common industrial feeders without a step-up transformer. The enclosure meets IP21 / Type 1 requirements, providing finger protection and limited resistance to dripping water for indoor mounting. Standard cable entries route motor, mains, and control wiring through removable gland plates, helping keep the different conductor groups organized inside the installation. The uncoated printed circuit board is intended for clean, controlled indoor environments where airborne moisture, dust, and chemical contaminants are limited.
Operation and tuning are performed through the graphical local control panel, which provides multilingual text menus and trend views instead of relying only on numeric codes. The panel gives users direct access to operating values, motor settings, status information, and diagnostic messages at the drive. Dynamic stopping energy is sent to a braking resistor through the internal brake chopper, preventing DC-bus overvoltage during rapid deceleration. Line protection is provided by the factory-selected fused mains protection, while conducted emissions are attenuated by the integrated RFI filter so the drive can operate near sensitive instrumentation. The modular option slots can accommodate application-specific fieldbus cards or relay outputs when additional communication or control functions are required.
