Product Description:
The FC-302P7K5T5E20H1XXXXXXS00 is a variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. By modulating the frequency supplied to an induction motor, it allows control systems to adjust motor speed and torque in conveyors, pumps, and other continuous-duty equipment. Electronic motor regulation supports accurate process control while reducing unnecessary mechanical stress during acceleration and normal operation. The drive is intended for installation inside a control cabinet with suitable ventilation and electrical protection.
The inverter provides a motor output of up to 10 HP, corresponding to an electrical power rating of 7.5 kW. It accepts a mains supply of 380–500 VAC through a three-phase power connection, allowing operation on common industrial power systems without an external transformer. The built-in radio-frequency interference filter meets RFI Class A1/B (C1), helping limit conducted electrical emissions from the drive. Its IP20 chassis enclosure protects against accidental contact with internal components but requires the surrounding cabinet to provide additional protection from dust, moisture, and other contaminants. Cabinet airflow must also remove heat produced by the inverter during continuous operation. Supply conductors and protective devices should be selected according to the connected load and installation requirements.
Field B provides no application-specific adaptation, so the drive does not include factory-installed application option cards in that position. Wiring passes through standard cable entries, and the housing supports standard cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames. These mounting provisions allow the enclosure to be secured within compatible cabinet layouts while maintaining access to its power and control terminals. The drive uses uncoated printed-circuit boards, making it appropriate for clean, temperature-controlled locations without substantial moisture, conductive dust, or corrosive airborne contaminants. The model includes no brake chopper, so applications with significant regenerative energy require another suitable method of controlling energy returned during deceleration. It is also supplied without a local control panel, which means operating commands and parameter access must be provided through another supported control interface. No additional mains option is installed, leaving the input arrangement in its standard configuration.
