Product Description:
The 131B0035 variable frequency drive is built by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. As an AC inverter, it converts fixed mains power into regulated output for controlling induction motors. This conversion allows controllers to adjust motor speed and torque in automated conveyors, pumps, and general machinery while maintaining the commanded operating profile under changing process demands.
Its motor output is rated at 1.0 HP, which corresponds to an electrical output of 0.75 kW. The input section accepts 380 to 500 VAC from a three-phase power source, allowing direct connection to standard industrial feeders without phase conversion. The drive uses an IP20 chassis that prevents accidental contact with live components when the unit is installed correctly inside a ventilated panel. Openings in this enclosure permit the airflow needed to remove heat generated by the internal power electronics. The product does not include a brake chopper, so applications that require rapid deceleration must use suitable external braking equipment. It also has no auxiliary mains filter module, leaving upstream power protection and any additional line conditioning to separate devices within the installation.
The front of the drive includes a graphical local control panel that provides direct access to operating values, settings, and diagnostic information without requiring another interface. Cable terminations pass through standard entry plates, which organize incoming power conductors, outgoing motor leads, and control wiring inside the cabinet. The unit is designed for normal cabinet mounting with A, B, and C frames, allowing its mounting points to align with compatible Danfoss enclosure arrangements. Conducted electrical emissions are reduced by an integrated filter classified as RFI Class A1/B (C1), helping limit interference transferred through connected power lines. The printed circuit boards do not have a conformal coating, so the drive should be installed in a clean cabinet that protects its electronics from moisture and airborne contamination. The series identifier is 302, placing the unit within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group. Upstream disconnects and fuses must be installed separately because the drive does not include an integrated mains disconnect option.
