The Danfoss 134G3805 belongs to the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series and is designed for normal cabinet mounting with standard cable entries. It operates at a power rating of 1.1 kW (1.5 HP) with a mains voltage range of 380 to 500 VAC and supports three phase power. This drive provides IP20 chassis protection and includes an RFI filter, along with EtherNet/IP MCA 121 as the A option.
Internal Product Review
The 134G3805 is a Danfoss VLT FC 302 automation drive designed for three-phase power at 380 to 500 VAC. EtherNet/IP MCA 121 support and a built-in brake chopper make the drive a strong fit for coordinated automation and controlled deceleration duties. IP20/chassis protection rounds out a very capable cabinet-ready package.

Product Description:
The 134G3805 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency line power into a modulated output that allows industrial controllers to vary induction motor speed and torque without mechanical throttling. Installed inside a control cabinet, the unit forms the interface between a plant’s three-phase supply and field motors, providing regulated acceleration, deceleration, and constant-speed operation for conveyors, pumps, and other automated loads. This arrangement supports precise process control while reducing the need for mechanical speed-control components.
The drive delivers a continuous output of 1.1 kW, and it is designed for input supplies ranging from 380–500 VAC. It operates on three-phase power, allowing direct connection to standard industrial feeders. For enclosure integration, the housing carries an IP20 chassis rating, so it must be mounted inside a protected panel but needs no additional barrier for protection against accidental finger contact. Dynamic braking energy is routed through an internal brake chopper, which protects the DC link when a motor decelerates rapidly. Standard cabinet-mount A, B, and C frames are supported. The uncoated printed circuit boards are cooled by ambient airflow inside the enclosure.
Motor capacity is also expressed as 1.5 HP, making the drive suitable for light-duty machines that require fine speed adjustment. Networked control is available through the EtherNet/IP MCA 121 option card, enabling direct integration with PLCs that use common industrial Ethernet protocols. An integral RFI filter reduces high-frequency emissions, helping the cabinet meet conducted and radiated electromagnetic compatibility limits without external filters. The drive contains uncoated internal electronics, so the installation environment must remain within the permitted humidity range. Configuration defaults include a standard language pack and omit an LCP keypad. The drive also comes without application-specific adaptation modules.
