Internal Product Review
The 131B0092 is a Danfoss VLT FC 302 automation drive with a 5.5 kW rating and 380 - 500 VAC input. Three-phase power architecture and a brake chopper make the unit especially capable in demanding automation duty with controlled stopping requirements. IP20/chassis protection and an RFI filter support clean cabinet integration, making this drive a strong choice for industrial motion control.

Product Description:
The 131B0092 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss and supplied under the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency line power into a regulated output that allows automation controllers to adjust the speed of three-phase induction motors. The drive is suitable for conveyors, pumps, and similar industrial loads that require variable-speed operation. By regulating motor voltage and frequency, it can respond to changing process demands while supporting controlled acceleration and deceleration.
The input section accepts a supply of 380–500 VAC from industrial grids configured for three-phase power. Inside the chassis, IGBT switching delivers up to 5.5 kW of continuous electrical output, which corresponds to a mechanical shaft capability of 7.5 HP. The IP20 chassis enclosure must be installed inside a protected cabinet because it prevents contact with hazardous internal parts but does not provide protection against water. Its mounting holes use the normal cabinet-mount pattern for A, B, and C drive frames. The heat sinks, bus capacitors, and printed circuit boards are uncoated, which limits their protection against airborne contaminants. No local control panel is supplied, so operation requires remote software, external control signals, or a separately ordered keypad. The line side does not include an integrated disconnect or fusing, so those components must be provided as part of the electrical installation.
An integral RFI filter attenuates conducted emissions and helps reduce electrical interference within the cabinet. The built-in brake chopper can be paired with an external braking resistor to dissipate regenerative energy during rapid deceleration. Power and control conductors enter through standard metric gland openings, leaving the accessory plate available for additional cable routing. The drive does not include application modules, fieldbus cards, or extended input and output modules. Adaptation B is not applied, so the factory configuration remains unchanged. Remote control connections can be used for operating commands when the drive is installed without a local control panel.
