Product Description:
The FC302P11KT2E20H2XGXXXXS is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase mains power into a variable output that lets controllers adjust induction motor speed and torque for conveyors, pumps, and general process equipment. By modulating voltage and frequency, the unit promotes energy savings, reduces mechanical wear, and supports closed-loop control in industrial automation lines.
This model delivers a rated motor power of 11 kW while supplying a continuous output of 46.2 A. During acceleration or brief overloads, it can reach 73.9 A, and the corresponding input values are 42 A continuously and 67.2 A intermittently. The output frequency is adjustable up to 590 Hz, allowing operation of high-speed motors beyond standard 50/60 Hz limits. Overall conversion efficiency is 0.96 at rated current, so only a small portion of the input energy is dissipated as heat. When powered from a 230 V network, the apparent power demand reaches 18.4 kVA, which helps with sizing upstream breakers and cabling.
The enclosure carries an IP20 protection rating and corresponds to mechanical size B4 with standard cable entries, so it mounts inside ventilated control cabinets. Conducted and radiated emissions comply with EN/IEC 61800-3 Category 3 and are further classified under EN 55011 Class A2, making the drive suitable for industrial environments where basic filtering is acceptable. Full-current operation is permitted up to 45 °C; above this temperature, the output must be reduced. Thermal losses at nominal load are 463 W, which must be considered when arranging cabinet ventilation. The drive supports 150 m of shielded motor cable or 300 m of unshielded motor cable, and it includes an uncoated printed circuit board. It is supplied without an LCP keypad or an optional mains disconnect module.
