Product Description:
The 131B0650 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. As part of the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, the unit converts fixed-frequency mains power into a programmable output that allows an induction motor’s speed to match changing load demands. This function supports controlled operation in conveyors, pumps, ventilation systems, and other automated machinery. The drive is intended for cabinet installation and supports closed-loop motor control for applications that require accurate speed or torque regulation.
For electrical integration, the drive accepts a line supply of 380–500 VAC from three-phase power and provides a continuous shaft output of 1.1 kW, or approximately 1.5 HP. Heat dissipation and installation clearances follow the cabinet-mount requirements associated with A, B, and C frames. The drive uses an IP20 chassis, so it must be installed inside a protected electrical panel that prevents unintended contact and exposure to contaminants. The unit does not include a brake chopper or a dedicated mains option, so external equipment must handle regenerated energy and input isolation when those functions are required. Cable routing uses standard entries, and the printed circuit boards do not have a protective coating.
Option slot A contains a PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 module for deterministic communication with a compatible PLC, while slots B, C0, C1, and D are empty. Operator interaction is provided through the Graphical Local Control Panel, which displays operating values, parameters, alarms, and status information through the standard language pack. Electromagnetic interference is reduced by the integrated RFI filter, helping limit conducted electrical noise on connected supply circuits. The drive carries the 302 designation within the AutomationDrive line. Cabinet mounting screws are compatible with A, B, and C frame installations, and the grounding strip inside the chassis provides a secure connection for protective conductors. These mounting and grounding provisions support orderly wiring within protected industrial control panels.
