The 131B0046 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. By varying the frequency supplied to an induction motor, the drive allows an automation system to adjust speed and torque in response to changing process demands. This control can reduce unnecessary energy consumption and mechanical strain in conveyors, pumps, and material-handling equipment. The compact format supports installation in control cabinets where motor regulation, process control, and communication functions must be combined within a limited amount of panel space.

The rated output power is 1.1 kW, which corresponds to a motor shaft output of 1.5 HP. The inverter accepts a mains input range of 380–500 VAC and operates with three-phase power. This supply arrangement allows the drive to connect directly to compatible industrial electrical systems without an external voltage transformer. An IP20 chassis enclosure protects against accidental contact with internal components while allowing ventilation inside a closed control panel. Standard cable entries provide organized routing for mains, motor, and control conductors. The cabinet-mount format follows the physical arrangement used for standard A, B, and C frame installations. No mains option is installed, so suitable upstream line protection must be provided as part of the electrical installation.

Operating information and parameter menus are accessed through a graphical local control panel supplied with the standard language pack. The display provides a local interface for reviewing operating values, changing settings, and responding to drive status messages. An integrated brake chopper manages regenerated energy during motor deceleration and helps prevent excessive voltage on the DC bus. Conducted electrical emissions are reduced by a built-in RFI Class A1/B filter, supporting use in installations that require line-side interference control. The printed circuit board is uncoated, making the drive best suited for clean, temperature-controlled cabinets without corrosive moisture or airborne contamination. No option is installed in Slot A, while Slots B and D are empty. The drive also has no C0 or C1 option installed, and Adaptation B is set to no adaptation. Standard cable access and the chassis enclosure allow the power and signal wiring to remain separated within the panel.
