Product Description:
The FC-302PK75T5E20H1X is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. As part of the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, it converts fixed mains power into regulated voltage and frequency for precise control of induction motors. This electronic control allows connected motors to match the speed and torque requirements of conveyors, mixers, pumps, and other automated machinery. Adjusting motor output to actual process demand can reduce energy consumption and limit the mechanical stress associated with throttle-based or constant-speed operation.
The drive accepts a mains supply ranging from 380 to 500 VAC and operates on three-phase power, allowing direct connection to common 400 V industrial distribution systems without a transformer. Its rated motor output is 0.75 kW, which corresponds to approximately 1.0 HP of continuous mechanical shaft power. The unit has IP20 chassis protection, which prevents accidental finger contact with live components but does not protect the drive from dust or water. It should therefore be installed inside a suitable control cabinet that provides the necessary protection for the operating location. Adequate spacing around the chassis supports ventilation and allows heat generated by the inverter electronics to dissipate. The compact power rating also makes the drive suitable for lower-power motor applications where cabinet space is limited.
Conducted electrical emissions are attenuated by the built-in RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, supporting compliance with applicable EN 61800-3 emission limits for compatible installations. The model includes no brake chopper, so regenerative energy produced during rapid deceleration cannot be dissipated through a braking resistor connected directly to the drive. Applications with significant regenerative loads must return that energy to the supply or use separate braking equipment designed for the system. Physical installation uses normal cabinet mounting, allowing the chassis to be secured in a control enclosure with access to its power, motor, and control terminals. The mounting arrangement also keeps the drive protected while preserving access for wiring, parameter adjustment, and routine inspection.
