Product Description:
The FC-302P45KT6131G5881HXBGXXXXSXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. By modulating the voltage and frequency supplied to an induction motor, the unit allows automated machinery to adjust shaft speed, acceleration, and energy consumption in conveyors, pumps, and ventilation equipment. Within process lines, the drive can replace mechanical throttles, allowing finer speed adjustment while reducing wear on mechanical components and supporting controlled operation under changing loads.
It delivers a continuous output of 45 kW, equivalent to 60 HP, allowing midrange production motors to run at rated torque. The power section accepts three-phase power, so the converter connects directly to a standard industrial supply without phase conversion. Operation on a balanced three-phase supply also minimizes input current ripple and simplifies the use of harmonic mitigation equipment. The drive belongs to the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group and carries the 302 designation. Its option slots and mechanical frame arrangement follow the platform layout, allowing compatible control modules and accessories to be installed where required by the application.
In its default configuration, the drive has no C1 filter option, so additional electromagnetic compatibility filtering is required when class C1 compliance is mandatory. Field wiring passes through standard cable entries, which provide a familiar metric gland pattern for routing motor, supply, and control conductors into the enclosure. Operating menus are provided through the standard language pack, eliminating the need for separate localization files during setup. The base configuration leaves room in the control cabinet for an external radio-frequency interference filter or a communication module selected for the control system. Cable routing and filter placement should maintain separation between power and signal conductors to limit electrical noise in connected feedback and communication circuits.
