Product Description:
The FC-302P1K5T5E20H1XXXXXXS201XALBXC is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It is designed to modulate the speed of standard induction motors by converting fixed-frequency mains power into an adjustable output for conveyors, pumps, and other general motion tasks in automated machinery. The housing follows cabinet-mounting conventions used for the A, B, and C frame sizes, allowing the drive to fit standard enclosures without additional brackets and to connect with upstream control networks through optional fieldbus cards.
The inverter delivers a continuous output of 1.5 kW, which is equivalent to 2.0 HP, so it suits modest material-handling and process loads. Its input section accepts 380 – 500 VAC on three-phase power, enabling direct connection to common industrial feeders without step-up or isolation transformers. The enclosure has an IP20 / chassis protection class, which keeps fingers and large objects away from live parts while relying on the cabinet for dust and liquid protection. Standard cabinet-mount hardware positions the heat sink against the panel wall to transfer loss energy into forced-air or ambient-airflow paths inside the enclosure.
The integrated A-option slot is populated with a PROFINET MCA 120 module, enabling cyclic control words and real-time diagnostics over Industrial Ethernet. This configuration includes no local control panel, so parameter access must be handled through PC tools or fieldbus commands rather than a front-mounted keypad. Electromagnetic compliance is supported by the built-in RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which attenuates conducted noise on the mains leads. The power boards use only base resin, and the electronics are not coated, so ambient humidity should remain within normal cabinet limits to reduce the risk of condensation.
