Product Description:
The FC-302N250T5134L4695H2BGXXXXSXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency, three-phase mains power into a modulated output that allows an industrial controller to regulate motor speed and torque. This control supports conveyors, pumps, and material-handling systems that require adjustable motion under changing loads. The drive’s output modulation provides controlled acceleration, deceleration, and steady-speed operation for compatible industrial motors.
This inverter accepts a three-phase input of 380–500 VAC and can deliver up to 250 kW of continuous power to the motor terminals. At startup, it can sustain 160% of rated torque for 60 s, providing additional torque for demanding acceleration cycles. The current loop responds within 1 ms, allowing the drive to react quickly to sudden load changes. Output frequency can be adjusted up to 590 Hz, while the separate flux-vector mode supports frequencies up to 300 Hz for field-oriented motor control. The drive tolerates a supply phase mismatch of 3.0% without disrupting normal operation. An integrated brake chopper transfers excess DC-bus energy to an external resistor when the bus reaches 810 V DC. The true power factor is at least 0.9, and the displacement factor is greater than 0.98, helping maintain efficient use of the incoming supply. One power-up is permitted every two minutes to keep the charging circuitry within its thermal limits. The unit is supplied with the standard language pack for its parameter menus.
An overvoltage alarm is issued at 855 V DC, while a high-voltage prewarning occurs at 828 V DC so the control system can initiate a safe deceleration. The drive meets Class A2 electromagnetic compatibility requirements under Category 3. A C1 filter is not installed, so the selected installation method must account for the available interference suppression. The maximum ambient temperature for full-load operation is 45 °C. Operation above this temperature requires derating to keep internal components within their permissible thermal range.
