Product Description:
The 131B0027 variable frequency drive is manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It adjusts the speed of induction motors used in material-handling lines, pump stations, and similar automated systems. Matching motor speed to the load can reduce unnecessary energy consumption and mechanical stress. The drive also provides regulated motor control for applications that require consistent speed or torque under changing operating conditions.
This model provides a continuous output of 0.55 kW, which corresponds to 0.75 HP. It accepts a supply voltage of 380–500 VAC, allowing connection to common industrial power systems within that range. The input requires three-phase power for normal operation. The enclosure has an IP20 chassis rating and is intended for installation inside a suitable control cabinet. Standard cable entries accommodate the control and power conductors without requiring special gland kits. The standard language pack supports navigation through the available setup menus, while the familiar VLT parameter structure allows the drive to be configured for common motor-control tasks.
The drive contains an RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter that reduces conducted electrical emissions and supports installation in appropriate industrial locations. The unit has no internal brake chopper, so an external braking solution is required when an application demands rapid deceleration or frequent stopping. The drive is supplied with empty option slots A, B, C0, C1, and D, leaving the listed expansion positions available for compatible modules. It does not include an LCP keypad, so local operation requires a separately installed control interface or remote access through the system controls. A mains disconnect is also not included and must be provided elsewhere in the electrical installation when isolation is required. The drive uses an uncoated printed circuit board, making installation in a clean, humidity-controlled cabinet important. Its standard configuration is suitable for panel integration where external controls, disconnect equipment, and braking components are already included in the machine design.
