Product Description:
The FC-302PK55T5E20H1XXXXXXSXXXXALBXCXXXXDX is an AC variable frequency drive assembled by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency plant power into a regulated output waveform so connected motors can run at controlled speeds in pumps, ventilation equipment, and conveyors. The unit serves as the power conversion stage between the incoming supply and the motor, adjusting output frequency and voltage to match process demand. In automated systems, this allows process equipment to respond to control commands more precisely than line-frequency operation. It is intended for cabinet installation on standard low-voltage three-phase mains.
The drive accepts 380–500 VAC input and is rated for 0.55 kW, which corresponds to 0.75 HP. It is built for three-phase power systems, and its IP20 chassis construction means it must be installed inside an enclosure that protects live parts from direct contact. This output level is suited to smaller motor loads such as auxiliary pumps, fans, and light conveyor sections. Terminal access is provided through standard cable entries, and cabinet mounting supports the usual A, B, and C frame positions. The design has no integrated mains disconnect, and the B and D option slots are not populated.
Network communication is handled by a PROFINET MCA 120 interface in the A slot, allowing real-time Ethernet control from a higher-level system. That option allows the drive to exchange cyclic commands and status data over an industrial Ethernet network. Adaptation B is set to no adaptation, the C-option positions are left blank, the standard language package is retained, and the front panel is supplied without an LCP. Electromagnetic compatibility is supported by an RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, while the control board uses an uncoated PCB finish suited to clean enclosure environments. The drive has no brake chopper, so applications that return braking energy require an external solution.
