Product Description:
The FC-302P15KT5131F9966H2BGXXXXSXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency utility power into a programmable output for regulating the speed and torque of induction motors. This control supports conveyors, pumps, and material-handling equipment that require adjustable motion under changing process demands. Replacing mechanical throttling with electronic motor control can reduce unnecessary energy consumption, while closed-loop operation allows the drive to respond to commands from an automation controller. Its shared parameter structure and mechanical format also support consistent cabinet layouts across related drive models.
The inverter provides a continuous electrical output of 15 kW, corresponding to a motor shaft capability of 20 HP. It accepts line supplies from 380–500 VAC, allowing connection to common industrial power systems without an autotransformer. The drive operates with three-phase power, and its internal rectifier and DC-bus capacitors are designed for balanced industrial service. Its vector-control algorithm regulates motor current to maintain responsive speed and torque performance during acceleration, steady operation, and changes in load. Built-in application functions include process control, PID regulation, and support for dynamic braking interfaces used in automated machinery.
The drive has no integrated C1 filter, so an external radio-frequency interference filter is required when an installation must meet Category C1 emission limits. Menu text and parameter assistance are provided through the Standard language pack, which offers multilingual access through the drive interface. The internal parameter set uses the 302 control platform and includes process timers, real-time clock functions, and safe-stop logic. MCT 10 software can be used to view parameters, save drive settings, and configure supported control functions from a connected computer. Proper filter selection, grounding, shield termination, and cable routing remain necessary to limit conducted and radiated electrical interference in the completed installation.
