Product Description:
The 131H2939 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Designed for installation inside an electrical cabinet, the device converts fixed-frequency utility power into a regulated output for a connected motor. The regulated output adjusts motor speed and torque in response to changing operating demands. This control supports applications such as conveyors, pumps, and material-handling lines that require accurate and repeatable movement.
The drive accepts an input range of 380–500 VAC and operates with three-phase power, allowing direct connection to common industrial feeders. Its continuous power rating is 75 kW, which corresponds to approximately 100 HP of mechanical output when the drive is paired with a suitable induction motor. The housing has an IP20 chassis protection level, providing protection against accidental finger contact with live internal components. Because the chassis is not sealed against dust or water, the drive must be installed in a suitable closed panel. The unit is configured for normal cabinet mounting with the applicable A, B, or C frame arrangement, and its standard layout supports orderly placement within the enclosure. The drive has uncoated printed circuit boards, making it suitable for clean production areas where moisture, conductive dust, and corrosive airborne contaminants are controlled.
Users access drive parameters, operating data, and status information through the Graphical Local Control Panel. Electrical wiring passes through cable entries supplied in a standard layout, helping maintain organized separation between incoming power, motor output, and control conductors. Motor deceleration energy is managed by the integrated brake chopper, which directs regenerative energy to a compatible external braking resistor when required. Electromagnetic interference is reduced by the built-in RFI filter, helping limit conducted electrical noise from the switching power stage. A standard language pack is preloaded for menu navigation and parameter access. No external motion controller module is attached to the drive.
