Product Description:
The 131B0069 is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Installed in a control cabinet, the unit converts fixed-frequency, three-phase line power into a pulse-width-modulated output that allows plant controllers to regulate induction motor speed and torque. Electronic speed control supports energy-efficient operation of centrifugal pumps, fans, and conveyors used throughout automated process lines. The adjustable output also helps machinery respond to changing production demands without relying on mechanical flow or speed controls.
This drive has a continuous output rating of 3.0 kW, equivalent to 4.0 HP, allowing it to operate medium-frame motors in HVAC, packaging, or material-handling equipment. It accepts supply voltages from 380 to 500 VAC. The drive uses three-phase power, so it can connect directly to compatible industrial distribution panels without a transformer. The chassis has an IP20 protection rating, which protects users against contact with hazardous internal parts while the surrounding cabinet provides additional protection. Standard cabinet-mount A, B, and C frames accommodate its heat sink footprint, and the standard cable entries simplify the routing of shielded motor and control conductors. The printed circuit board assemblies are uncoated, so the enclosure must maintain suitable industrial humidity and contamination conditions.
Dynamic braking is handled by an integrated brake chopper, which diverts regenerated energy to an external resistor during rapid deceleration and helps keep the DC bus voltage stable. Parameter access and setup are performed through the Graphical Local Control Panel. Its icon-based menu works with the standard language pack to provide clear navigation through operating values and adjustable parameters. Radio-frequency emissions are reduced by the built-in RFI filter, allowing the drive to operate near sensitive instrumentation when it is installed with appropriate shielded wiring and grounding. The available cabinet arrangements provide space for routing the external braking resistor connections separately from low-voltage control wiring. This separation helps reduce electrical interference between power conductors and command or feedback signals inside the control cabinet.
