The 131B0652 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss and supplied within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It is designed to regulate compatible induction motors in conveyors, pumps, fans, and other automated equipment. By modulating output frequency and voltage, the drive converts commands from a plant controller into controlled changes in motor speed and torque. This operating method helps machinery respond to changing process demand while reducing unnecessary mechanical strain during acceleration and deceleration. Closed-loop process control can also maintain a required flow rate, pressure, or conveyor speed without forcing the motor to operate continuously at full speed.

The drive supplies up to 2.2 kW of continuous output power to the connected motor. Its power section accepts a supply range of 380–500 VAC and uses a three-phase power input, so it can connect directly to compatible industrial power systems without a phase conversion device. The variable-frequency output allows motor speed to change while maintaining controlled electrical operation across the intended load range. An integrated PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 option card supports cyclic setpoint exchange, operating commands, status information, and diagnostic feedback between the drive and a PLC. The drive is intended for standard cabinet mounting in A-, B-, and C-frame arrangements with appropriate installation clearances. Its circuit boards do not have a protective coating, leaving their surfaces directly accessible for visual inspection.

The enclosure has an IP20 chassis protection level, which prevents accidental contact with hazardous internal parts while requiring installation inside a suitable cabinet. A built-in RFI filter attenuates conducted electrical emissions on the incoming supply leads and helps limit interference with nearby control equipment. Local setup, parameter review, operating status, and fault information are available through the graphical local control panel. Its menus use the Standard language pack to present drive parameters and operating messages. The drive has no brake chopper, so applications requiring controlled dynamic braking must use compatible external braking hardware. Standard cable entries provide routing points for power, motor, control, and communication wiring. The streamlined arrangement leaves the PROFIBUS card as the primary installed communication option while preserving access to the local control interface.
