Product Description:
The FC-302P5K5T5E20H2XGCXXXXXXAXBXCXXXXX is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Installed inside control cabinets, the unit modulates the speed of induction motors used in material-handling, pumping, and ventilation systems. It provides programmable torque regulation for production equipment and allows motor output to be adjusted according to changing process demands.
The inverter supplies up to 5.5 kW of continuous electrical output, equivalent to 7.5 HP at the motor shaft. It accepts line supplies ranging from 380 to 500 VAC and uses three-phase power, allowing direct connection to common industrial power networks without a transformer. Cabinet airflow provides the primary cooling path because the chassis has an IP20 enclosure rating. This enclosure protects against incidental contact with internal components but requires installation inside a cabinet that excludes dust and moisture. The unit uses the normal A, B, and C cabinet frames, allowing its mounting pattern to align with other drives in the platform. A separate mains disconnect and adaptation module are not included with this configuration.
An integrated RFI filter attenuates conducted emissions, allowing the drive to operate near sensitive PLC and sensor wiring with less electrical interference. Local interaction is handled by the Graphical Local Control Panel, which displays parameters and real-time operating values on a backlit screen. This panel provides direct access to drive settings during routine operation without requiring an external programming device. All circuit boards have a protective coating that resists humidity and airborne contaminants in processing areas with fluctuating temperatures. The drive has no brake chopper, so regenerative energy produced during rapid deceleration must be managed by the motor system or a suitable external braking unit. Adaptation B is not included, and application-specific software add-ons are not preloaded.
