Internal Product Review
The 131B1547 is a Danfoss VLT FC 302 automation drive with a graphical local control panel and three-phase power input. A 10 HP output and 380 - 500 VAC mains range make the unit especially practical for mid-range automation applications. IP54/Type 12 N3R protection stands out as a valuable feature for enclosed industrial installations.

Product Description:
The Danfoss 131B1547 is an AC variable-frequency drive in the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Within automated lines, the unit modulates the voltage and frequency supplied to an induction motor so production equipment can be accelerated, decelerated, or held at a commanded speed without mechanical throttling. As a member of the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, it is intended for general-purpose conveyor, pump, and fan applications that require consistent torque and electronic feedback. Electronic speed regulation also reduces the need for mechanical control components that restrict flow or motion.
The inverter accepts a three-phase input from 380 to 500 VAC, matching common industrial power supplies. Its motor terminals can deliver 7.5 kW of continuous mechanical power, equivalent to 10 HP, for midsize process motors. Operation with three-phase power helps the bus capacitor remain balanced during load changes. The enclosure has an IP54/Type 12 N3R protection rating, shielding the internal electronics from dust and splashed fluids when the drive is installed outdoors under a canopy. An internal line filter meets RFI Class A1/B (C1) limits, reducing conducted emissions that could affect sensitive instrumentation. The drive does not have a brake chopper, so braking energy must be absorbed by the motor or dissipated through external equipment. Standard cable entries simplify gland plate installation and provide organized routing for power and control conductors.
The control interface uses a graphical local control panel that provides parameter access without a PC and displays operating information through plain text and icons. Application software carries identification code 302 and supports the control functions associated with the FC 302 platform. The drive has uncoated printed circuit boards, so the installation environment must remain within the permitted humidity conditions and must not expose the electronics to corrosive contaminants. A standard language pack supports routine interaction through the local panel. Standard cable hardware is included for the intended enclosure configuration, while the available option slots remain unused.
