The 131X3591 is an automation drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. As a variable-frequency controller, it receives fixed mains power and delivers regulated output to three-phase induction motors, enabling speed and torque adjustment in conveyors, pumps, and other process equipment. The drive is intended for industrial automation applications that require precise motor regulation, compact cabinet integration, and fieldbus connectivity. Its regulated output allows connected machinery to respond to changing process demands without requiring the motor to operate continuously at full speed.
The drive is designed for three-phase power and connects directly to plant supplies ranging from 380–500 VAC. Within this voltage range, the inverter delivers a continuous mechanical output of 0.55 kW, making it suitable for small centrifugal machines or indexing stations. The frame supports standard cabinet mounting across A, B, and C sizes, allowing the drive to fit several common panel layouts. The housing has an IP20 chassis rating, which provides protection against accidental finger contact but does not seal the internal components against water or fine airborne contaminants. Standard cable entries simplify the gland plate layout. Because the printed circuit boards are not coated, the drive must be installed in a dry environment that is free from corrosive contaminants.
