Product Description:
The 176L1566 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss in the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. The unit converts three-phase mains power into adjustable voltage and frequency for induction or permanent-magnet motors used in conveyors, pumps, and general machinery. Its control architecture supports speed regulation, torque limiting, and energy optimization in automated systems. The compact design is suitable for panel installations where multiple motor-control components must share limited enclosure space.
The drive provides a continuous output of 11 kW, which corresponds to 15 HP. It is designed for three-phase power and connects directly to industrial supply lines operating from 380 to 480 V without external phase conversion. The circuit boards have a coated varnish layer that protects conductive tracks from moisture, dust, and airborne contaminants. Wiring enters through standard metric gland plates, allowing the unit to work with common enclosure cable-routing arrangements. No A-option module is installed in the drive. The standard language package allows the keypad interface to start in English without requiring additional language files.
The drive has no brake chopper, so applications requiring dynamic braking must use suitable external braking equipment. No process-specific adaptation is installed, allowing the standard control functions and parameter structure to remain available. The unit has no C1 harmonic mitigation option, so any required harmonic reduction must be provided elsewhere in the electrical system. It also has no mains input option installed in the input filter section. The right-side B slot does not contain an option module, leaving that interface available for compatible expansion equipment. The top C0 socket is also unoccupied and can accept a supported fieldbus, encoder, or motion-control accessory when the application requires additional functionality.
