Product Description:
The FC-302P1K5T5E20H1XXXXXXSXXXXA0BXC is a variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. The unit converts fixed mains power into a regulated output that controls motor speed and torque in conveyors, pumps, and other industrial machinery. It is intended for applications that require steady process control during normal operation. It is also suitable for variable-speed duty where smooth acceleration and consistent motor response are needed.
The drive accepts 380 – 500 VAC on a three-phase power network and can deliver up to 1.5 kW, which is approximately 2.0 HP, to a connected motor. Its enclosure has an IP20 / Chassis protection level, so the unit should be installed inside a ventilated panel. Open installation without a protective enclosure would leave internal sections exposed to dust and accidental contact. Because no brake chopper is integrated, kinetic energy during rapid deceleration must be routed to external resistors. Standard cable entries bring both mains and control wiring into the housing, and the lack of a mains option leaves line-side fusing or filtering to the surrounding installation. An LCP is not supplied, so local keypad operation is not included, and the standard language pack keeps the menu set in its default languages.
Field integration is handled by the PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 interface, which provides cyclic communication with PLCs without an external gateway. Conducted emissions are limited by the built-in RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter. The drive uses Normal cabinet mount A, B & C Frames, which matches common enclosure spacing for these frame types. The control boards are not coated, so the unit should be installed in clean, dry cabinet air. Because the brake-safe-stop feature is omitted, safety-related stopping must be handled with external contactors or an STO-capable drive safety module.
