Product Description:
The 131F0252 is a variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed three-phase mains power into a controlled electrical output for pumps, conveyors, and general factory automation. The modulated output allows connected controllers to adjust motor speed according to changing process demands, reducing unnecessary operation at full speed.
This drive connects to three-phase supplies within a voltage range of 380–500 VAC, allowing operation on common 400 V networks without a transformer. Its continuous motor output is rated at 1.1 kW, providing the capacity needed for compatible industrial motors. Conducted emissions are suppressed by an integral filter rated for RFI Class A1/B (C1), which helps limit electrical interference when sensitive instrumentation shares the same cabinet. The housing has an IP20 chassis rating, so internal components are protected against accidental finger contact. However, the drive must be installed inside a suitable enclosure to protect it from dust and moisture. Its three-phase topology supports direct integration with standard industrial power distribution systems, while pulse-width modulation regulates the voltage and frequency supplied to the motor.
Fieldbus communication is provided through the optional DeviceNet MCA 104 interface, enabling cyclic setpoint exchange and diagnostic communication with compatible PLC networks. If the main control power fails, an onboard MCB-107 24 V DC backup maintains the logic supply so the drive can transmit alarms and retain operating state data. The drive includes no brake chopper, so applications requiring regenerative stopping must use compatible external braking equipment. Standard cable entries simplify power, motor, and control wiring within the cabinet-mounted frame. The printed circuit board is not coated, so the drive should operate in a clean, dry control cabinet that is protected from condensation and corrosive contaminants. A graphical local control panel provides direct access to operating values, status information, and adjustable parameters without requiring a separate computer connection.
