The 131B8997 is a variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It regulates the speed of three-phase induction motors by adjusting the voltage and frequency supplied to the motor. This control allows conveyors, pumps, and material-handling stations to match changing process demands without relying on constant-speed operation. Controlled acceleration and deceleration also reduce electrical and mechanical stress on connected equipment in automated plants.
The inverter has a continuous motor output rating of 11 kW, which corresponds to 15 HP at the motor shaft. It accepts an input supply ranging from 380 to 500 VAC through a three-phase power network. An integrated RFI filter attenuates conducted electrical noise before it reaches the mains supply. Standard cable entries simplify gland-plate arrangements and provide organized routing for power and control wiring. The included language pack provides multilingual parameter text through the drive interface.
