Product Description:
The Danfoss 131B1869 is an AC variable-frequency drive in the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts a fixed-frequency AC supply into a regulated output that allows a connected controller to vary the speed and torque of a compatible induction motor. This capability supports controlled operation in conveyors, pumps, material-handling stations, and other automated machinery. The drive has a continuous power rating of 22 kW, providing the capacity required for industrial motor-control applications within its rated operating range.
The rated output corresponds to 30 HP at the motor terminals. The drive accepts an input voltage range of 380–500 VAC and operates with three-phase power, making it suitable for common industrial electrical systems. Its IP21 / Type 1 enclosure protects against accidental contact with internal components and vertically falling water drops. The enclosure is intended for dry indoor installation where the surrounding area remains free from excessive moisture and conductive contamination. Because the unit does not include a brake chopper, regenerated energy from rapid deceleration cannot be dissipated through an internally controlled braking resistor. Applications with demanding stopping cycles may require an appropriate external braking arrangement or a deceleration profile that keeps regenerated energy within acceptable limits.
Field installation is supported by standard cable entries that accommodate common gland plates and simplify routing for power, motor, and control conductors. An integrated Graphical Local Control Panel provides access to operating parameters, drive status, alarms, and local motor commands without requiring a separate interface. The panel also allows operating information to be viewed directly at the installed unit, which is useful during setup and routine monitoring. Conducted electrical emissions are reduced by the built-in RFI filter, helping limit interference transferred through connected supply wiring. The printed circuit boards are not coated, so the drive should be installed in a location that is free from corrosive gases, chemical vapors, and persistent condensation. Optional expansion cards, specialized front-end modules, and additional mains accessories are not installed in this configuration, leaving the available interfaces in their standard arrangement.
