Product Description:
The FC302P7K5T6134G1593HXBGXX is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Designed for cabinet installation in industrial plants, it synthesizes adjustable three-phase output from a constant supply so that induction motors can follow precise speed and torque references. The drive supports application programming through a detachable LCP 102 keypad and includes an internal brake chopper, allowing rapid deceleration without an external brake chopper module.
The inverter delivers a continuous output power of 7.5 kW, providing sufficient headroom for medium-sized pump or conveyor loads. When connected to a 575 V supply, the input line draws 9.9 A, a figure that simplifies cable sizing and circuit breaker selection. Electrical conversion losses are limited by its operating efficiency of 0.97. Only 261 W is released as heat at rated load, so most installations require only modest panel ventilation. The vector-control stage can generate output frequencies up to 590 Hz, enabling oversynchronous motor operation where high shaft speed is needed. The drive has no integrated EMC filter or mains option, so external line-side filtering or disconnect hardware must be supplied separately.
Brake energy handling is governed by a DC-link level of 943 V DC; above this point, the chopper routes surplus energy into a resistor bank. Continuous dissipation is rated at 0.680 kW, with a recommended resistance of 72 Ω, a nominal value of 83.2 Ω, and a mandatory minimum of 69 Ω to keep component temperatures within limits. The high-voltage warning appears at 965 V DC, while an overvoltage shutdown occurs at 975 V DC to protect the IGBT bridge. For motor connections, the drive supports shielded cable lengths up to 150 m, allowing remote motor placement without additional output reactors. These operating thresholds help prevent excessive DC-link voltage during deceleration, while the stated resistance values support proper brake resistor selection. The permitted cable length also gives installers flexibility when locating the motor away from the drive cabinet.
