Product Description:
The FC-302N160T5134F4153H2BGXXXXSXXXXAXBXCXXXXDX is an AC variable frequency drive engineered by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. As a closed-loop inverter, it converts fixed-frequency three-phase power into a programmable output that regulates motor speed, acceleration, and torque in conveyors, blowers, and process pumps. The product is part of the manufacturer’s AutomationDrive portfolio and supplies high continuous power. Its integrated analog and digital I/O allows a PLC to issue setpoints, monitor status, and coordinate motion with other axes on the production line.
The drive delivers a continuous output of 160 kW, providing sufficient power for large 400 V-class motors. It accepts 380–500 VAC supplies, covering common industrial mains voltages. During startup, it can develop 160% of rated torque for 60 seconds, allowing static loads to begin moving without requiring an oversized drive. Line demand peaks at 304 A in the 380–440 V range, a value used when selecting breakers and cables. Flux-oriented control reacts within 1 ms, enabling rapid tension and speed corrections on winding stations. Two digital pulse outputs and one 12-bit analog output report process values. The 40 mA transistor output can also switch relays directly.
At the maximum carrier setting, the drive supports an output frequency of up to 590 Hz, permitting oversynchronous operation for high-speed spindles while the control algorithm limits stator frequency to 300 Hz. Full current can be delivered at ambient temperatures up to 45 °C, and derating is not required until this temperature is exceeded. The drive can operate at installation altitudes up to 1000 m without additional forced cooling, making it suitable for many standard electrical-room locations above sea level. Conducted emissions fall under category C3 and class A2. The drive meets applicable industrial EMC requirements when it is connected using shielded motor leads and appropriate mains filters.
