The 131B2583 is an AC variable-frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. This controller converts fixed utility power into a variable-frequency output, allowing connected motors to operate at speeds suited to changing process demands. Its regulated output supports speed and torque control in conveyors, pumps, ventilation equipment, and other automated machinery. Adjusting motor operation to the required load can reduce unnecessary energy consumption and mechanical stress in applications that do not require continuous full-speed operation.
The drive delivers a continuous shaft output of 4.0 kW, which corresponds to 5.0 HP, while accepting a mains supply of 380 to 500 VAC. The input section uses three-phase power, allowing direct connection to common industrial electrical systems without phase conversion.
