Product Description:
The 131B0030 is an automation drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It functions as a variable-frequency inverter that regulates the speed of induction motors in material-handling, pumping, and process equipment. This regulation allows an industrial controller to adjust motor torque and speed in response to changing load requirements, which can reduce unnecessary energy consumption during partial-load operation.
This model accepts a supply of 380 to 500 VAC from a three-phase power source. It can deliver up to 1.5 kW, which corresponds to a motor output of 2.0 HP. The chassis has an IP20 chassis rating, so the drive must be installed inside a suitable enclosure when dust, moisture, or accidental contact could affect the equipment. An integral RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter limits conducted electromagnetic interference on the mains supply. This filter helps prevent switching noise from traveling through shared power lines and affecting nearby control equipment.
The unit supports normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, allowing its baseplate to align with the corresponding panel layouts. Standard cable entries provide established routing points for power, motor, and control wiring inside the cabinet. The printed circuit boards are not coated, so the installation area must remain within ordinary cabinet humidity and contamination conditions. The drive uses Series Identifier 302 within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group. It is supplied without a brake chopper, so applications that require dynamic braking must use an appropriate external arrangement. The unit is also supplied without a local control panel, while the language pack and cable entries remain standard. Its baseline configuration does not include A, B, C, D, C0, C1, or mains option modules, and no adaptation is included.
