The FC-302P5K5T5E20H2BXCXXXSXXXXA0BXCX is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency, three-phase mains power into a regulated output for controlling the speed of pumps, fans, conveyors, and other automated machinery. The drive supports closed-loop motor control, allowing connected equipment to follow speed and torque commands without relying on mechanical throttling devices. Its chassis is designed for installation inside a suitable electrical cabinet.
The drive has a rated output power of 5.5 kW, which corresponds to 7.5 HP. Its input bridge accepts 380–500 VAC from a three-phase power supply, allowing direct connection to compatible plant feeders. The IP20 chassis housing provides basic protection against accidental contact and depends on the surrounding cabinet for additional sealing. An integrated brake chopper directs regenerated energy to an external resistor during rapid motor deceleration. Standard cable entries accommodate metric gland plates, while the regular frame arrangement allows the unit to be installed alongside other cabinet equipment. An internal radio-frequency interference filter reduces conducted electrical noise and supports compliance with industrial electromagnetic compatibility requirements.
The fieldbus connection is provided by a PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 card, which supports cyclic setpoint exchange and diagnostic communication with a PLC network. A coated control board resists humidity and airborne contaminants in industrial installations. The installed control software uses code 302 and includes the latest release available for this configuration. A standard language pack is preloaded, but the drive does not have an LCP keypad, so configuration is performed through PC software or the fieldbus connection. No mains option is installed, requiring upstream disconnect equipment to provide electrical isolation and lockout. These external isolation devices must be selected and installed according to the requirements of the connected power system.
