Product Description:
The 131U4075 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. The unit converts fixed-frequency mains power into a controlled output that allows automation systems to vary induction motor speed and torque without mechanical throttling. This functionality supports conveyors, pumps, and fans that require accurate speed regulation. Its standard cabinet footprint allows installation inside industrial control enclosures.
The drive delivers a continuous power output of 11 kW, which corresponds to 15 HP at the motor terminals. It accepts line voltages from 380 – 500 VAC through a three-phase power network, so it can be wired directly to standard industrial feeders. The chassis has IP20 protection, which guards live parts against accidental contact while relying on the surrounding cabinet for protection from dust and debris. Standard cable glands simplify installation because the cable entries are factory-machined for typical metric fittings. The mounting style accommodates A, B, and C frame footprints for straightforward panel placement. No brake chopper is included, so regenerative energy must be handled by the mechanical load or an external braking module when rapid deceleration is required. The printed circuit boards do not have a conformal coating, making the drive appropriate for clean electrical rooms rather than corrosive environments.
A factory-installed PROFINET MCA 120 option card connects the inverter to a real-time Ethernet control network. The MCB-107 24 VDC backup module keeps the control logic active during mains interruptions, supporting parameter retention and bus communication. Electromagnetic compatibility is supported by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter that limits conducted noise returning to the power supply. Local interaction is handled through a graphical local control panel with text menus and trend readouts. The standard language pack provides the normal interface options for local operation. Adaptation slot B remains open for an additional input/output or application module.
