Product Description:
The FC302P7K5T6131X7118HXXGXX is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts the fixed-frequency three-phase supply found in 525–600 V industrial networks into a modulated output that lets automation equipment vary induction motor speed and torque as process demand changes. By adjusting motor voltage and frequency in real time, the unit supports energy-efficient operation of pumps, fans, and material-handling machinery.
The drive draws a nominal input of 9.9 A from a 575 V line and presents an apparent power of 11 kVA. On the output side, it can deliver 11 A to a motor while maintaining an efficiency of 0.97 at rated current, so thermal losses remain low. Internal DC-link monitoring issues an alarm at 975 V DC, preventing component stress during supply surges. Output voltage is regulated from zero to the full mains level, and frequency can be adjusted between 0 and 590 Hz to accommodate a wide range of motor pole counts. A true power factor of at least 0.9 limits reactive draw, and the design tolerates up to 3% mains imbalance without derating.
Shaft power reaches 7.5 kW, which is sufficient for medium-sized centrifugal loads. In flux mode, the controller supports frequencies from 0 to 300 Hz to boost starting torque when heavy inertia is present. Standard cable entries simplify enclosure mounting, and motor leads may extend to 150 m when shielded or 300 m when unshielded, providing flexibility in large installations. Power loss at rated load is 261 W, so control-cabinet ventilation can be sized accurately. The supply frequency range is 50/60 Hz ±5%. The unit connects directly to service transformers and does not include integral mains disconnect hardware.
