Product Description:
The 134F7157 is a variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. As part of an AC inverter family, the unit modulates the voltage and frequency supplied to induction motors so that plant controllers can set speed and torque without mechanical throttling. This function makes the drive suitable for conveyors, pumps, and general-purpose industrial automation cells.
The drive is designed for three-phase power and accepts an input range of 525–690 VAC, enabling direct connection to industrial mains. It supplies up to 1.5 kW of continuous electrical output for standard-efficiency motors. An IP20 chassis enclosure permits installation inside ventilated switchgear while limiting accidental contact with live parts. The cabinet-mount design simplifies alignment with bus bars and heat sinks in compatible enclosures. The absence of C0 and C1 plug-in cards leaves the corresponding expansion positions available for future upgrades. Standard cable entries provide conventional routing points for power and control wiring. A standard language pack is available through the local interface for parameter navigation and alarm review.
Operator interaction is handled by a graphical local control panel that shows parameter values and alarms without requiring a networked HMI. Electromagnetic compatibility is supported by an integrated RFI Class A1 (C2) filter that attenuates conducted noise on the supply conductors. The power board has a protective coating that provides an additional moisture barrier in locations where humidity or airborne contaminants could shorten component life. For rapid deceleration, the integrated brake chopper directs surplus DC-link energy to an external braking resistor. This arrangement helps control rising bus voltage when a connected motor regenerates energy during a commanded stop.
