Product Description:
The 131N9999 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It modulates output voltage and frequency so induction motors accelerate smoothly, respond to changing loads, and reduce energy consumption. Integrated drive electronics, safety hardware, and fieldbus expansion support coordinated motor control in automated machinery. The unit is suitable for conveyors, pumps, fans, and other applications that require adjustable speed and controlled acceleration.
The drive accepts 380 to 500 VAC directly from industrial supply buses and operates with three-phase power, eliminating the need for a phase converter. Its inverter stage delivers 1.1 kW of continuous power to a connected motor. An IP20 chassis enclosure limits access to hazardous internal parts while relying on the surrounding cabinet for protection and cooling airflow. Conducted emissions are reduced by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which supports use in installations that require this emissions category. A built-in brake chopper manages regenerated energy when the motor decelerates, helping prevent excessive voltage on the DC bus. The drive uses standard cable entries, and its default language pack supports access to the available menus and operating parameters. The printed circuit boards are uncoated, so the unit must be operated within the applicable humidity and contamination limits.
The drive supports normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, allowing existing drilling patterns to be used where dimensions are compatible. Network communication is provided by a PROFINET MCA 120 A-option card, which enables real-time Ethernet messaging with compatible PLC systems. An MCB-107 24 V DC backup module can keep the control electronics active during a loss of mains power when it is connected to an external supply. The power platform supports motors rated up to 1.5 HP, providing an imperial equivalent for regions that use horsepower ratings. Adaptation B is unused, and no B, C0, C1, or mains option boards are installed. The drive is supplied without an LCP keypad, so operation and parameter access require another supported control interface. Standard cable glands provide entry points for both power and control wiring while helping organize conductors inside the cabinet.
