The 131B0519 is an AC variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group, it converts fixed-frequency mains power into a variable-frequency output for controlling induction motors. The drive regulates motor speed in conveyors, pumps, and general industrial machinery. Its mechanical envelope fits positions intended for A, B, and C frame drives inside standard control cabinets, allowing it to be integrated into industrial automation panels without unusual mounting arrangements.
The drive accepts 380–500 VAC from three-phase power lines and supplies up to 1.5 kW, or 2.0 HP, to the connected motor. Its IP20 chassis protects against accidental contact with live components but requires a suitable cabinet for additional protection from dust and moisture. Conducted electrical emissions are limited by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter. Standard cable entries provide practical routes for incoming power, motor conductors, and control wiring. Cabinet-mount brackets secure the chassis in its normal operating orientation. The unit does not include a brake chopper, so regenerative energy from decelerating loads must be managed by external equipment when the application produces significant braking energy. A standard language pack is installed for supported operating interfaces. No local control panel is fitted, so configuration and monitoring require a compatible external interface or network connection.
Fieldbus communication is provided by the DeviceNet MCA 104 A-option card, which supports remote command, setpoint, and status exchange with a higher-level controller. This interface allows the drive to receive operating instructions and return process information through the DeviceNet network. The printed circuit boards are uncoated, so the unit should be installed in a clean, dry cabinet that limits exposure to conductive dust, condensation, and airborne contaminants. No software option is included for advanced positioning, safety, or coordinated motion functions. Applications that require those functions must use suitable external controllers or separate safety devices. The drive remains suitable for essential variable-speed motor control where cabinet installation, network communication, and standard automation functions are required.
