Product Description:
The 131B0146 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed three-phase mains power into a modulated output that allows controllers to adjust motor torque and speed in conveyors, pumps, and general process equipment. An integrated LCP 102 graphical keypad allows the drive to be configured directly from the front panel without external tools. The keypad also provides local access to operating data, parameters, status information, and diagnostic messages.
The drive measures 90 mm wide, 205 mm deep, and 268 mm high, and these dimensions correspond to enclosure size A2. Its IP20 housing permits installation in ventilated electrical rooms while guarding against accidental finger contact. The inverter delivers continuous motor output power of 1.1 kW at a rated output current of 3.0 A. Transient demands can be met by a maximum output current of 4.8 A, providing additional current during short periods of acceleration or increased load. The input side draws 2.7 A from the three-phase supply. The drive does not contain a brake IGBT, so an external chopper module is required when an application needs dynamic braking. The front fascia accepts the graphical keypad and keeps its display and controls accessible after the drive is mounted inside a cabinet.
The assembly weighs 4.9 kg, allowing it to be secured to suitable cabinet supports or a mounting plate. Internal switching components and magnetics dissipate 58 W of heat during operation, which must be considered when arranging panel airflow and equipment spacing. Conducted and radiated emissions comply with Class A2 (C3) limits for installation on industrial power networks. A conformal coating rated to Class 3C3 protects the printed circuit boards from airborne contaminants, high humidity, and corrosive gases such as sulfur compounds. The coating supports operation in demanding production areas where unprotected electronic components could be exposed to moisture or chemical contamination. Cabinet ventilation must provide sufficient airflow to remove the generated heat while maintaining the required clearances around the enclosure.
