Product Description:
The FC-302P1K5T5E20H1BGXXXXSXXXXALBXCXXXXD0 is a drive module manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Installed inside a control cabinet, the unit converts fixed-frequency three-phase power into a variable-frequency output so automation controllers can regulate motor speed and torque. This conversion allows connected equipment to operate at the speed required by changing process conditions rather than running continuously at full speed. The drive can be used with conveyors, pumps, fans, and other machinery that requires adjustable motion profiles.
The drive delivers a continuous mechanical output of 1.5 kW, which is equivalent to 2.0 HP. It accepts an input supply ranging from 380 to 500 VAC, and its three-phase power input allows direct connection to compatible industrial mains. The housing has an IP20 chassis protection level, making live parts finger-safe while requiring an enclosure for protection from dust and moisture. Conducted emissions are limited by an integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter. Standard cabinet-mount frames support organized panel layouts and provide access to the drive terminals. The printed circuit boards are uncoated, so the surrounding cabinet must provide suitable protection from condensation and corrosive contaminants. Its internal series identifier is 302, corresponding to the shared control and mechanical platform used by this drive series.
Slot A contains a PROFINET MCA 120 interface for real-time Ethernet communication with an automation controller. A graphical local control panel is supplied for entering parameters and viewing operating information at the cabinet. Dynamic stopping energy is managed by a brake chopper, which allows compatible braking equipment to dissipate energy returned by a decelerating motor. The D slot contains an MCB 107 24 V DC backup module that keeps the control circuits active during brief interruptions of the main supply. Standard cable entries support conventional cabinet wiring and allow power, motor, and control conductors to be routed into the housing. The installed language pack uses standard English for menus, messages, and parameter descriptions.
