Product Description:
The 131X5702 is an AC variable frequency drive built by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency three-phase mains power into a controlled output waveform so industrial controllers can vary motor speed, limit inrush current, and reduce energy consumption on conveyors, pumps, mixers, and other automated loads. The device is intended for cabinet installations where precise torque regulation and process throughput adjustments are required. Its control architecture supports demanding automation applications that require stable motor performance across changing operating conditions.
Electrical output is rated at 2.2 kW, which is equal to 3.0 HP and provides continuous power at the motor terminals. The input bridge accepts line voltages from 380–500 VAC on three-phase power networks, so an external transformer is not required when the available supply falls within this range. An internal DC link and IGBT inverter modulate the output frequency delivered to the connected motor. The enclosure has an IP20 chassis protection level, which protects against accidental finger contact with live parts when the unit is installed inside a suitable panel. Standard cabinet-mount frames A, B, and C share one hole pattern, while standard cable entries accommodate motor and control conductors without additional drilling. The 302 series identifier aligns the drive’s parameter structure with other FC 302 models.
Dynamic braking energy is processed by the integrated brake chopper, which helps manage regenerated energy during motor deceleration. Position synchronization functions are available through the MCO-305 (SyncPos) module installed in the C0 option slot. Conducted emissions are managed by the built-in RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which helps limit electrical interference returned to the supply network. The printed circuit boards have no protective coating, making the drive suitable for dry cabinet environments without significant moisture or airborne contamination. The unit includes a standard language pack and is supplied without an LCP keypad, so operation can be managed through the installed control system or a compatible external interface.
