The 131U0353 is a highly versatile industrial frequency converter. It is part of Danfoss’s VLT 302 product line. Drives from this product line are not restricted to applications that use Danfoss motors. These drives are compatible with motors manufactured by any vendor. Compatible motor types include synchronous and induction motors. The drive can control motor speed and torque in open-loop control mode. It can control speed, torque, and processes in closed-loop control mode. References input by an operator are used by the drive for motor control. Operators can provide the references via the local control panel or remotely via serial interfaces or analog/digital inputs. PID control is used to keep the motor speed constant despite variations in motor load. Process PID control is used for process parameter control when sensors are available for measuring parameters.
