Product Description:
Danfoss manufactures the 131F7527, an AC variable-frequency drive sold in the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. The drive belongs to the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group and uses the internal 302 designation for its control platform and physical arrangement. It regulates motor speed and torque in automated conveyors, pumps, mixers, and other variable-load machinery. A connected PLC can command acceleration, deceleration, and operating speed directly, reducing the need for mechanical throttling devices or adjustable gearing.
The inverter provides a continuous output of 11 kW for compatible industrial motors. It accepts a supply voltage of 380–500 VAC from a three-phase power network, allowing connection to common 400-volt plant mains. The IP20 chassis housing protects against accidental finger contact with live components, but the drive still requires a suitable cabinet in areas exposed to dust, moisture, or splashing liquids. Conducted electrical noise is reduced by the integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, which limits interference returned to the supply network. The drive uses a standard language pack for its parameter menus and operating messages. A local control panel keypad is not installed, so configuration and monitoring must be performed through an appropriate remote interface.
The unit supports normal cabinet mounting for A, B, and C frames, allowing direct placement alongside compatible power and control modules. Its standard cable entries accommodate conventional gland plates and provide organized routing for mains, motor, and control wiring. The control boards do not have a protective coating, so the cabinet should prevent exposure to high humidity, corrosive vapor, conductive dust, and other harmful contaminants. No brake chopper is installed, and applications that require rapid deceleration must use a suitable external braking arrangement supported by the overall drive system. The base configuration does not include auxiliary option cards, leaving the available communication and control functions dependent on the drive’s standard interfaces. Adequate cabinet ventilation and the required installation clearances must be maintained so heat can leave the chassis during continuous operation.
