Product Description:
The FC-302PK37T5E is a variable frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Designed for installation in three-phase motor control panels, the unit converts fixed 380 to 500 VAC mains power into a regulated output that allows PLCs to control motor speed and torque. By maintaining a precise electrical frequency, the drive supports conveyors, pumps, and general-purpose machinery where energy savings and repeatable motion are required.
The drive accepts a line supply of 380 to 500 VAC through a three-phase input and is rated for 0.37 kW, which is equivalent to 0.50 HP of mechanical output when paired with an induction motor. Under nominal conditions, it delivers a continuous output current of 1.2 A while drawing 1.0 A from the supply. The associated apparent power is 0.9 kVA, and internal power dissipation reaches 35 W. Variable-torque and constant-torque applications can be tuned up to a maximum output frequency of 590 Hz, and the controller tolerates a mains imbalance of up to 3.0% without tripping. The unit is limited to two power-ups per minute to protect its inrush components.
Electrical efficiency is rated at 0.93, so most of the absorbed power reaches the motor terminals instead of being lost as heat. Control accuracy is supported by an analog input resolution of 10 bits and an analog output resolution of 12 bits, while digital outputs can switch loads up to 40 mA. The auxiliary 10 V reference can source 15 mA for potentiometer feedback, and the 24 V terminal supplies 200 mA for sensors or contactors. Shielded motor cables may be run up to 150 m, while unshielded conductors may extend up to 300 m for remote motor placement. The drive identifier 302 places the unit within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group.
