Product Description:
The FC-302P5K5T5E20H1XGXXXXSXXXXA0BXCXXXXD0 is an AC variable frequency drive produced by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series within the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group. Intended for cabinet installation in automated machinery, the unit converts fixed-frequency three-phase mains into a modulated output that regulates induction motor speed and torque for pumps, conveyors, and general process equipment. This operating method lets the connected motor run at speeds that better match process demand instead of remaining tied to line frequency. Normal cabinet-mount A, B, and C frames support mechanical integration, and standard cable entries guide power and control conductors without extra adapters.
It delivers a continuous power rating of 5.5 kW, which is approximately 7.5 HP, and accepts mains in the range of 380–500 VAC on three-phase power lines. The enclosure has IP20 chassis protection, so the drive is intended for dry, protected electrical rooms rather than exposed washdown areas. The printed circuit boards are not coated, so the unit should be installed where airborne contamination is limited. There is no brake chopper, so regenerated energy must be handled by external components when the driven load returns power to the DC bus.
Communication is provided by the PROFIBUS DP V1 MCA 101 module installed in the A-option slot, allowing the drive to exchange control data with a higher-level automation network. On-site interaction uses the graphical local control panel, which provides text-based parameter menus for setup and monitoring at the unit. Electromagnetic compliance is improved by the integrated RFI Class A1/B (C1) filter, and ride-through capability is supported by the MCB-107 24 V DC backup module in the D slot. No B option, C0 motion controller, or C1 extension is fitted. Adaptation B is set to no adaptation, and the drive uses the standard language pack.
