Product Description:
The 134L3070 is an AC variable-frequency drive manufactured by Danfoss for the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. It converts fixed-frequency plant power into a regulated output that allows controllers to adjust induction motor speed in conveyors, pumps, and other equipment requiring precise torque management. The drive is intended for cabinet installation in industrial automation systems where controlled acceleration, deceleration, and steady-speed operation are required. Its output regulation helps the connected motor respond to process demands while reducing the need for mechanical speed-control equipment.
The drive accepts a line supply of 380–500 VAC and operates with three-phase power, allowing direct connection to standard factory mains within that voltage range. Its continuous mechanical output is rated at 0.75 kW, which is equivalent to 1.0 HP and provides suitable capacity for small fans, pumps, and conveyors. The chassis-style enclosure provides IP20 chassis protection, shielding live components against accidental contact when the unit is mounted inside a cabinet. Standard cabinet-mounting hardware is supported for A, B, and C frames. Standard cable entries simplify routing because special gland plates are not required. The printed circuit boards are uncoated, so the installation environment should protect the drive from excessive moisture and corrosive airborne contaminants.
The A-slot contains a PROFINET MCA 120 module, which enables real-time Ethernet control and cyclic data exchange with compatible automation systems. Motor thermal protection is supported by an MCB-112 PTC thermistor card installed in the B-slot. The D-slot contains an MCB-107 24 V DC backup board, which keeps the control electronics operating during brief interruptions of the main power supply. The integrated filter meets RFI Class A1/B (C1), helping limit conducted electromagnetic emissions without requiring an additional filter module. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so regenerative energy from decelerating loads must be handled by suitable external equipment. A graphical Local Control Panel provides direct access to operating parameters and status information. Because a dedicated mains disconnect is not included, an appropriate upstream disconnect and protective device must be installed as part of the electrical system.
