Product Description:
The FC302P7K5T5131X7835H2XGXX variable frequency drive is produced by Danfoss within the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. The unit belongs to the VLT AutomationDrive FC product group and converts three-phase mains power into a regulated output that controls motor speed and torque in automated machinery such as conveyors, mixers, and process pumps. By matching motor demand to process load, it lowers energy consumption and limits mechanical strain across a wide range of installations.
Electromagnetic compliance is addressed with an immunity rating of EN/IEC 61800-3 Category 3 and an emission level of EN 55011 Class A2, permitting installation in industrial environments without additional filtering. Standard cable entries simplify cabinet wiring, and the Graphical LCP 102 keypad provides parameter access and fault readout. The drive meets the efficiency benchmark of IE2, so less input power is lost as heat during full-speed operation. Flux vector control can build commanded torque in only 1 ms, while the VVC+ algorithm reaches its reference in 10 ms to support rapid speed shifts. An internal brake chopper is not fitted; therefore, external dynamic braking hardware is required when excess energy must be dissipated. Motor leads may run up to 5 m when EMC limits apply, and mains imbalance should not exceed 3.0%.
Full current is available at ambient temperatures up to 45 °C and at elevations up to 1000 m. Above those points, the drive can continue operating with gradual derating until the temperature reaches 55 °C or the elevation reaches 3000 m. For high starting loads, the controller delivers 160% for 60 seconds every 10 minutes. For brief overload events, it supplies 110% for 0.5 seconds every 10 minutes. The power section should not be cycled more than two times per minute to preserve capacitor life. The permitted power-up rate supports indexing applications without exceeding thermal limits.
