Product Description:
The FC-302PK37T5E20H1XGXXXXSXXXXA0BXCXXXXDX is an AC variable-frequency drive from Danfoss in the VLT FC 302 Automation Drives series. Within an automation cell, the drive modulates the voltage and frequency supplied to an induction motor so production equipment can operate at the speed required by the process. The unit includes a graphical local control panel for on-site parameter entry. It also supports machine-level networking through the PROFIBUS DP-V1 MCA 101 interface installed in the A-option slot.
The drive produces 0.37 kW, equivalent to 0.50 hp, of continuous output power and accepts an input range of 380–500 VAC from a three-phase power supply. Motor speed can be commanded up to 590 Hz, while shielded motor cables may be routed as far as 150 m without exceeding voltage-drop limits. The drive does not include a brake chopper, so regenerative braking requires suitable external equipment when the application returns energy from the motor. Control electronics are uncoated, making a clean cabinet environment important for dependable operation. An integrated RFI Class A1/B filter helps reduce conducted electromagnetic interference. Standard cable entries and a standard language pack are included, and the unit uses the normal cabinet-mounting arrangement for compatible A, B, and C frames.
The C3 enclosure houses the power stack and control boards, and its IP20 chassis protection helps prevent accidental contact with hazardous internal components. The assembly weighs 35 kg, which should be considered when selecting the panel structure and mounting hardware. Cabinet depth must accommodate at least 333 mm, while the available width must accommodate at least 308 mm. A vertical space of at least 550 mm is needed for the unit, airflow, and cable bends. Normal cabinet mounting positions the heat sinks inside the panel, so the enclosure must provide adequate ventilation to remove operating heat. Because the circuit boards do not have a protective coating, the surrounding air should be kept free of excessive dust, moisture, oil mist, and corrosive contaminants. The integrated filter supports use in industrial electrical environments where limiting radio-frequency interference is necessary.
