The Bosch Rexroth IndraDyn S MSK synchronous servo motor series is built around a wide performance spectrum with fine size gradation, using high torque density to support compact machine designs and delivering maximum torque capability up to 631 Nm within the series.

To match positioning requirements, MSK motors can be ordered with encoder systems in different resolution classes, and each encoder option is available in both single-turn and multi-turn absolute versions for either within-one-revolution absolute positioning or multi-revolution absolute position retention. The platform is configurable with practical mechanical and functional options such as output shaft variants (including keyway choices), integrated holding brakes, and enhanced concentricity accuracy for applications that demand tighter mechanical runout behavior. For higher continuous-duty demands, MSK motors can be paired with axial or radial fan units, and those fan assemblies are designed with IP65 protection and an integrated temperature sensor so thermal protection can be handled without external motor-protection switching. Selected MSK variants also support liquid cooling to extend continuous performance, and the series is specified for defined industrial operating conditions including typical 0–40 °C ambient operation and standardized duty-cycle characterization per EN 60034-1 such as S1 and S3.
